Situated in South West Ireland, Inches House and cottages offer you three modern, warm and cosy self-catering holiday cottages. Set at the foot of the Slieve Miskish mountains on the beautiful Beara peninsula, West Cork.
Our cottages are ideal for couples, small families or groups of up to four persons. Some beds are ziplink's allowing flexibility of sleeping arrangements. All three cottages are centrally heated and have showers over bath, their own dedicated off road parking and free wi-fi and wall mounted flat screen TV's with free to air satellite channels.
Our Cottages are ideally situated for exploring this wondeful peninsula being approximately 1km from Eyeries village, 5km from Castletownbere and 1.5km from the Atlantic Ocean. The Beara way walking route and the Wild atlantic way is 300 metres from our cottages.
Eyeries is renowned for its multi-coloured houses and its panoramic views over the Atlantic. It has 2 pubs, a shop, a café, a restaurant and post office. It has won several gold and silver awards in the small village category of the Tidy Towns competition.
The busy fishing port of Castletownbere is approximately 5km from Inches House Cottages. There are a selection of supermarkets, pubs, cafes and restaurants. It is also the home of McCarthy’s bar as featured in the book of the same name written by the late Pete McCarthy.
The Ring of Beara is a scenic coastal driving route around the finger-like Beara peninsula which is now a large part of the new Wild Atlantic Way. Beara projects South West into the Atlantic Ocean. Whilst motoring, walking or cycling you have ever-changing mountain and sea views extending to the Ring of Kerry in the North and the Sheeps Head and Mizen Peninsulas in West Cork to the South.
